these were made by the German company Mertens-Kunst (1936-2001) circa 1960

Nordia Israel Mid-Century Modern Brass Ashtray trapeze figures satin-finish glazes -- deep celadonJust a terrific looking, quintessentially mid century modern brass ashtray, made by Nordia, Israel, c. 1960s I believe. The perfect stylish party ashtray, or great on the desk for paperclips or whatever. Some wear and light scratching to the surface of the brass, which I have not touched, and perfect greening to the interior. Really sharp. 3 11 16" long x 3 3 16" deep x 9 16" tall.
