Porcelain Tiger! Victorian yellow and pinkish birds --What I love most about this vintage mid century porcelain tiger is the relationship between its body and its face: its body is long and sleek, but despite attempting to come off fierce, teeth bared, its face looks to me just like that of a big kitten! I've looked online at other vintage ceramic tigers but have not found this one's match. Hand painted and finely made, I would guess it dates from the 1960s or early 70s. I'd put it atop a stack of books
