Germany, Imperial. A Prussian Pilot’s Badge, Stick Pin Miniature Version Archive Badge in silvered nickel-silver(Flugzeugfhrerabzeichen Anstecknadel). Constructed of silvered tombak, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a German State Crown, around a central depiction of a monoplane flying over a rural landscape, unmarked, measuring 13 mm (w) x 20 mm (h), with some loss of finish evident, in very fine condition.
