1951 Ferrari 375 Castrol 13th September 19671951 Ferrari 375. This Ferrari, known as the 'Thin Wall Special', was modified by British industrialist Tony Vandervell, incorporating a 4. 5 litre engine. It paved the way for the famous Vanwall racing cars of the 1950s. Reg Parnell drove the car to victory in the 1951 International Trophy race at Silverstone.
