A Scarce German Cross In Silver By Deschler; Heavy Version With Case Auction and maker’s mark of GodetHeavy version, four rivets, in silvered tombac and enamels, partially patinated, it weighs 70. 2 grams, measuring 63. 13mm x 63. 04mm, unmarked, but a textbook example by maker Deschler & Sohn, no damages to enamels, a slightly worn example, in extremely fine condition. Carefully protected by items original case of issue, with a strong push button catch, a recently repaired hinge, and importantly, with strong traces of silvering remaining on band,
