It features reinforced sidewalls which slope downward at the front, amd with an extra layer of identical material surrounding the sides. The crown is trimmed along the outer edge with a length of deep red piping. Pinned onto the peak is an insignia consisting of a silvered bronze oval, featuring an enameled blue, white, and red Yugoslav cockade,
