A Weimar era fire brigade personnel visor cap, constructed of black wool. It features reinforced side walls, trimmed along both the top and bottom edges with red wool piping. An additional band of identical piping lines the outer edge of the crown. Pinned onto the peak is a bronze insignia consisting of a firemans helmet overlaying a cross pick and axe, measuring 33 mm (w) x 30 mm (h). Directly underneath the peak insignia, the
