Instituted 30 January 1816 by the Senate of the Free City of Frankfurt. (1816 issue). Constructed of silver, the obverse bearing a raised and crowned Frankfurt heraldic eagle, overlaid by a letter F, the reverse bearing a wreathed inscription of FRANKFURTS STREITERN IM BUNDE 1815 (FRANKFURTS FIGHTERS IN THE ALLIANCE 1815), unmarked but produced from a die designed by Samuel
