A silver bust of the head of a woman from Capri. The woman is smiling and her hair is in two braids held up in the back with a hair stick. The bust is on a pedestal. The statue is of a two piece hollow construction and is marked on the back with GEMITO 800 and GEMITO NAPOLI. Measuring 79. 85 mm (base) x 150mm (h) and weighing 850 grams. With a lovely patina, in extremely fine condition. Footnote: Vincenzo Gemito was
