Constructed of silvered and patinated zink, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a stylized lightning bolt emanating from a cloud, in turn overlaid by a raised Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round integrated catch, unmarked, measuring 43. 14 mm (w) x 56. 82 mm (h), weighing 33. 7
