Our beacons are very low profiles and will not blow away on the roadside from highway traffic. Use the Weighted Base to prevent the LED Beacons from blowing away in strong winds, on runways and during a helicopter landing. You can also use the Weighted Base with the cone adaptor to create a ground stand. The LED Beacon weighs 1. 5 lbs. with the weighted base.
