Austria, Empire. An 1866 Tirol Campaign Commemorative Medal, c.1870 Newly Listed Beachville(Tiroler Landesverteidignungsmedaille). Instituted September 17th, 1866. A circular silver medal, the obverse depicting the rightward facing bust of Kaiser Franz Joseph I., circumscribed by his name and title in German, the reverse inscribed Meinem Treuen Volke von Tirol (My Loyal Peoples from Tirol) and dated 1866 within an open ended laurel and oak leaf wreath, suspended from its period original tri fold ribbon, unmarked, measuring 31. 0 mm in
