An 8th Reconnaissance (14th Canadian Hussars) Regimental Cap Badge Auction Independence Medal 1980Constructed of silvered and gilded white metal, the badge presents a stylised maple leaf with dual banners superimposed on the badge inscribed VIII and RECCE respectively, both lugs intact on the reverse, unmarked, measuring 53. 9 mm (w) x 50. 1 mm (l), in near extremely fine condition.
