Graupert Light & Fresh dark chocolateGraupert from Meinklang is an orange wine made from Grauburgunder (Austrian for Pinot Gris). the name Graupert is an old Austrian expression which refers to a scruffy person. The vines look a bit like that growing wild without pruning and intervention of any kind. The result in the 2022 is a rustic and complex wine, that goes from fruity to herbal notes, aromas of peach, persimmon, green tea, herbs and medlar.
