Constructed of blackened magnetic iron, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a Cross Patte overlaid by a date of 1815, the reverse bearing a monogram of King Friedrich Wilhelm II, situated above an inscription of FR PFLICHTTREUE IM KRIEGE (FOR DUTY IN WAR), circumscribed by an inscription of GOTT WAR MIT
