Constructed of dark blue wool, the obverse bearing a machine embroidered silver grey inscription of GESCHWADER BOELCKE in Fraktur script, the reverse featuring a black cotton liner, unmarked, measuring 4 cm (w) x 46. 5 cm (l), a quintessential example of a cuff title distributed to personnel of Flieger Geschwader Fassberg (later Kampfgeschwader 27, Kampfgeschwader 154, and Kampfgeschwader 157)
