(1806 1813). An early Legion of Honour in silver, featuring a white Maltese cross with segments of green laurel and oak leaf, the obverse medallion in 18 K Gold featuring a right facing portrait of Napoleon encircled by a blue ring inscribed NAPOLEON EMP. DES. FRANCAIS, the reverse medallion features an eagle with outstretched wings, encircled by a blue ring inscribed
