Simply raise your saw blade through the insert to create a "kerf" which precisely matches the blade on your saw. This 1 2" thick insert is precision machined from a nearly frictionless melamine faced, high density phenolic laminate. It offers durability and flatness unobtainable from cheaper plastic inserts.
