Germany, Imperial. A Small Imperial War Flag consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac toned bronze(Reichskriegsflagge). Constructed of white cotton rayon blended cloth, bearing a double sided printed Reichskriegsflagge (National War Flag) in the form of a black and white Nordic Cross, overlaid by a central German imperial eagle clutching an orb and sceptre, with the upper hoist corner featuring an Imperial German tri colour overlaid by a Cross Patte, unmarked, measuring 60 cm (w) x 40 cm (h), demonstrating soiling and minor material fatigue
