Constructed of a bronze alloy with multi-coloured layering

Constructed of dark blue wool, the obverse bearing a machine embroidered silver grey inscription of GESCHWADER HORST WESSEL in Fraktur script, the reverse featuring a black cotton liner, unmarked, measuring 45 mm (w) x 460 mm (l), an example of a title issued to personnel of Fliegergeschwader Dortmund in unissued and near mint condition.
