Prussia, Kingdom. A Düppel Storm Cross Auction in Amherst(Dppeler Sturmkreuz). Constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension, consisting of a Cross Patte, the obverse with a leftward facing profile of Kaiser Wilhelm I, circumscribed by name and title, the reverse with a Prussian Imperial Eagle perched on top of a canon, the arms inscribed DFFEL 18. APR. 1864, with a laurel wreath through the quadrants, unmarked, measuring 31. 64 mm (w) x 36. 78 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
