Germany, Kriegsmarine. An Officer’s Breast Eagle Newly Listed with Brown being appointed Corporal(Brustadler fr Offizier der Kriegsmarine). Constructed of a dark green wool and canvas backer, the obverse bearing a hand embroidered gold bullion wire Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 105 mm (w) x 42 mm (h), with some loss of wool consistent with mothing evident, in very fine condition.
