Instituted in 1895. In silver gilt, measuring 30. 2 mm in diameter, pitted, contact marks, replacement ribbon with hook and eye, traces of gilt remains, very fine. Footnote: The Medal for Zeal was instituted in 1895 and awarded for meritorious service to the Royal house or to Montenegro, in two grades: Gold and Silver.
