Wolf & Woman Syrah, 2023 cinsault no relatives have been identifiedRoasted blackberries, bright blueberry, chestnut, spice and faint violets. Palate is dark, delicate and gentle with nuanced robustness, structure and fine tannins with notes of espresso and hints of pepper intermingling. 100% Syrah from two regions: 90% from Malmesbury on red, iron rich soils, and 10% from Riebeekberg on schist. The iron soils provide the aromatics with a denser tannin; the schist provides structure, concentration and grippy tannin.
