I very much like the sophisticated texture of the mid palate that contrasts markedly with the slightly drying and lean finale. I would observe that this was carrying quite a bit of gas, which has the effect of accentuating dryness so its quite possible that the austerity of the finish will become less apparent once the wine is bottled.
