The 2018 Pinot Noir Alpine Vineyard opens with striking
a higher side of the vineyard and a lower one (near Damilano and Ceretto)
with an opaque purple color and an extraordinary nose of mulberry
cracked pepper and licorice strewn over a base of berry fruit
classically austere Barolo that will especially delight readers with traditionally leaning palates
Daniel Vollenweider, Goldgrube Aurum Brut Zero The 2018 Pinot Noir AlpineThe intensely white golden colored Wolfer Goldgrube Riesling Aurum is exciting on the nose that displays perfect fruit ripeness along with very fine notes of crushed stones and sweet herbs. Silky, round and perfectly rich, this is a generous but fresh, refined, slatey and salty Goldgrube with a long and already slightly caramelly finish that reveals delicate grip completely intertwined with the salty acidity. This is a gorgeous wine. Tasted in April
