as it has a rough bottom edge

and with a nice warm patina including old stained and light scratches and a little paint here and there

and to that little whiskered mole or shrew

These are tethered to the scrap wood handle with wire wound round and round in to my eye a really beautiful way

19th. C. Staffordshire Transferware Hare Plate white slip glazed but know they are quiteA rare c. 1830s 40s Staffordshire transferware Hare plate, because I love a bunny, and love the simple "hare" label describing this one. This was made as a child's plate and would be good now for teatime just the right size for a biscuit or two, then for holding one's teabag. Happy hoppy. 4 7 8" in diameter with a very fine hairline crack running up from the hare's back, minor.
