and this is a very sweet one--not a bit fussy

I had a great old wooden cutout bluebird in the shop a few months ago

9" l x 5 1/2" w x 2 1/2" t

There are a couple of stains on the face

Elegant Inuit Black Stone Carved Owl shop brush where clearly it hung forI'm sure this Inuit carving, with its crooked beak, represents an owl, but is a fairly unusual one from what I've found in its minimalism, feeling quite like a modernist sculpture. Very striking I think, with a really strong presence. 4 3 4 t x 5 1 4 long measured on the square; 1 lb 6 oz. Signed (incised) in syllabics with a disc number on the underside. Very good condition, with a few flaws in the stone, which appear native to it.
