I'm always looking for old folk art oil and board landscapes in this manner--honest and completely unfussy--this one depicting a view of the Merimere Reservoir in Meriden Connectcut
my guess would be late 19th or so
3 3/4" l x 2 7/8" t x 1 1/4" w and in great condition
but most of all I love the play between the ruffle of her bonnet as it crosses her forehead and her hair peeking up underneath
Plus this beautiful hand-tooled leather cover with wrap around strap
