Hand-sculpted, Gold Painted Vintage Clay Monkey action figure 1900 (monochromatic lithograph prints likeThis fun guy doesn't have wings but he does remind me quite a lot of the winged monkeys from Oz, though I can't look at a gold painted monkey without thinking of Jeff Koons' Michael and Bubbles, too. The gold on this one is much mellower though, imparting him with a bit of a tramp art feel (which the green felt glued to the underside rather amplifies!)
