C. 1930s-40s Leather Mark Cross England Soccer Ball puzzle cube most notably for the faceNot exactly my usual sort of find, but when I spotted this old leather soccer ball in a case at an antique mall a few days ago, it just struck me as quite a beautiful thing, and I've since found that these old leather soccer balls (or, made in England, really footballs) are pretty precious things. I believe this one, sewn together of 18 leather panels, dates to the 1930s or 40s, and though it was a bit deflated when I found it, I've since pumped it up
