Three Wine Company "Live Oak" Zinfandel, 2017 kerner Off-dry bubbles from Cascina GilliBlack fruits jump out of the glass, hints of kirsch, black pepper + spice, sandalwood, tobacco, cedar box, sweet figs. Palate is refined layers of ripe fruit, framed by tobacco, oak, juicy berries and menthol. First planted by Italian immigrants, the fruit is intensely concentrated and powerful yet really well balanced. Driven by 77% Zinfandel from vines exceeding 100 years of age, with Petite Sirah, Carignane, and Alicante Bouschet. The Live Oak
