This canister is in good overall condition

and also a 19th century tradition of carving and painting vertebrae to resemble John Wesley (1703-1791)

though the strap could just as easily attach to a tool belt

The is a little lint that shows against the dark navy

U. Kinsey's Toy Building Blocks in the collection of the Henry Ford Museum, dated 1875 1885, which is I believe about when these were produced.
