and they only use French oak barrels

The mouthfeel is fleshy and generous and there is plenty of backbone here to carry the wine forward throughout the years
all wrapped in a lingering and mouth coating finish
Best from 2025 through 2043
Antoine Jobard, Meursault Charmes Vintage:2017 and they only use French(from a small . 17 ha parcel situated directly below Perrires that was planted in 1963). Reduction and wood toast make for a pungent combination. By contrast there is a highly seductive mouth feel to the pure and transparent middle weight flavors that exhibit much more minerality, all wrapped in a chiseled, intense and beautifully long and complex finale. Lovely stuff and in particular I like the sense of harmony here. (91 94) 2022+
