Vina Cobos, Bramare Malbec Chanares Vintage:2016 The high-toned and admirably pureBright ruby red. Very ripe aromas of blackberry, blueberry, violet and licorice, plus notes of cocoa powder and dark chocolate. Quite seamless in texture but with a slightly medicinal, herbal cast that conveys the coolness of the 2016 vintage. Strong black fruit flavors are accented by menthol and mint. Finishes with firm, building tannins, a note of dusty cocoa powder and very good violet lift. Not a particularly pliant style of Cabernet Franc, this
