Dhorka refers to the traditional method of lost wax casting native the Dhokra Damar tribes of West Bengal

Frame size (measured on the backside) is 5 1/8" x  3 5/8"

the two gridded women have entirely different sorts of faces (though they share the same fabulous gown)

pencil and crayon/colored pencil on faintly lined paper

which I believe was an advertising give away from a liquor company

This little whimsy I found in PA and while nothing fancy I like how smoothly carved they are, and with a nice warm dry wood patina as well. 6 1 4 l x 1 3 16 w and in very good condition.
