Cillar Silos, Vina Amalio other_regions_australia (92-94)/2025+The wine they consider more classical in the range is the 2016 La Via de Amalio, a single vineyard Tempranillo from a plot planted in 1964 on sandy soils that deliver wines with energy and subtleness. It fermented in small tanks and matured in French oak barrels for 18 months. This is a lot less oaky than previous years, and it has the rustic character of Ribera del Duero, the concentration and power of the old vines and the structure to develop
