with all of those chip carved layers creating a really wonderful geometry

as if just another day at school

is that this is American and I am pretty sure it dates to the 2nd half of the 20th century

I'd guess this is a Robin, looking pretty cozy and well protected to me, though keen to being peeking in upon. Lovely. 5 1 2" x 3 1 2", very good condition. Unused back.
