Real Photo Postcard early victorian perhaps painted on Monhegan islandA curious one, which seems to have been taken in a museum, with signage on the door and next to the pictures hanging on the walls to either side, just out of readable reach. I presume the batten door itself is a very early American one, with what looks to be a hole worn through at the center and with early windsor chairs framing it at either side, as if guards at the literal door. Framing and more framing and more framing, and I always love an old
