9 1/2" long x 1 3/4" in diameter

and could be used to track all sorts of things

I believe, on laid paper. The text details 76 exterior and 53 interior muscles of the body corresponding to numbers on the beautifully rendered bodies, with a enlarged detail of a "simple regular muscle" at top right. I especially love the face on our man at right. It appears this was cut down
