Lovely Bunch of c. 1870s Slate Pencils with Gold Paper Wraps motel pool like a cross between celadonA beautiful set of antique slate pencils, just waiting for one of those antique slates I am so fond of (none in the shop just now, but I'll find one soon!) I do like just looking at these a bundle of possibilities; words and numbers yet to be written. I come across these now and then but I've never seen ones wrapped in gold, which makes them extra lovely and special feeling. c. 1870s. Approx 6 7 16" long. Sold as a set. In excellent condition.
