This really lovely West German mid-century vase I believe was made by Steuler
or carved wooden animal
in excellent vintage condition (photos are shot through the glass of the frame
French Ebony Wood and Horsehair Brush Lowell MA maple I believeAnother pretty brush, which I love for its shape and the contrast between the near black ebony with the near white horsehair. I don't think this one is especially old; the wood on the handle of one side reads "Real Ebony" and the other bears some text I cannot read followed by "France." On one short side of the handle are five little inlaid bits that look like bone. I believe intended as a clothes brush, but certainly useful for all sorts of things,
