showing off the dexterity of its maker

Removing the drawers reveals the top of the chest at least was made from cigar box wood, and the underside of the drawers suggests maybe soap boxes? A terrific blue and red paint job makes it pop, with orange on the the knobs. 1940s or so I'd think? 6" tall x 5" wide x 4 3 8"
