Description
Just a great little studio pottery vase
each holding one side of the ribbon or scroll that announced a Clarence A
which I believe dates to late 1940s or early 50s
with plenty off rusting (one one side more than the other)
and one well well dressed mistress of ceremonies
"Roy Powell and Pets," Roxbury, MA, Wonderful July 8, 1896 Mounted Photograph layered painting Just a great little studioI love this photo SO much, down to the writing on the back, identifying our boy here as a young Roy Powell of Roxbury, MA posing on July 8, 1896 with his many "pets!" I see mice (rats?) a squirrel, and several rabbits, one white above, and two black and white below. Plus a bird up top, and a dog who looks to be responsible for pulling the whole menagerie along from place to place! Pretty fabulous. 6 1 2" x 4 1 4" and in excellent condition.
