and found it such a lovely and surprising thing

and knowing that it came from the estate of a very prolific artist makes it easy to imagine that the trusty set of tools inside have lived a very active life

and it reminds me to a fair extent of the work of Nils Thorsson

Turned and Carved Antique Citrus Reamer antique folk art carving studied and started making potteryThis old wooden citrus reamer would certainly elevate the task of juicing lemons or limes; it is just beautiful, and a pleasure to hold in your hand. I'd guess is it pretty old and there is a bit of roughness to the wood in a few spots on the reaming end, but it's in great shape overall with lots of years of use in it yet though plenty lovely just to retire for display. 7 1 8" long.
