The Raincatcher Red by Jasper Raats, 2022 Russian River Valley Palate is playful with loadsExpressive and brooding, with baked dark berries brimming with spice and fruit. Palate is silky, punchy, spiced and decadent. Almost 90% Cabernet Sauvignon with touches of Cabernet Franc and Merlot, grown biodynamically. The wine is fermented in Stainless Steel tank with wild yeast, then aged in French oak for 17 months. Unfined, unfiltered some sediment will occur due to the minimal intervention in winemaking. The Baobab tree is endemic to Africa, it
