The supple
A hint of herbal tea sits atop the earthier aromas of essence of red berries that are not quite as ripe though they are a bit spicier
Despite the reserve
This one is the hardest to taste today of this trio of 2012 Syrahs
50% Pinot Noir from Montagne de Reims and Vallée de la Marne
Benjamin Leroux, Meursault Narvaux Blanc Vintage:2016 The suppleCool, pure and very pretty aromas of roasted nut, petrol and a blend of white orchard fruit scents. There is both fine richness and volume to the solidly concentrated and intensely mineral driven middle weight flavors that conclude in a youthfully austere, balanced and sleek finale. This is an excellent Meursault villages though note that its one that is going to need at least a few years of keeping as its pretty tightly wound at present.
