A few months ago I found the metal skeleton of a wind-up bear toy just like this one--a very beautiful thing in its stripped down state

There are small pin holes in all four corners and a tiny fold mark in the card-stock at bottom left

making for a pair of striking and delightful boxes great for jewelry

Geometrical Green and Natural Wood Bendy Trivet articulated wooden Pinocchio giving it just a fantasticThough the wood is very well worn and green stain has faded, I really love this old trivet, which seems to be held together (still very tautly) in its grid by elastic threads, as it is satisfyingly bendy. If not to be used as a trivet, it could serve as a board for so some sort of modified version of checkers! I think I'd keep it on the kitchen counter to use all of the time; it just makes me happy and feels super home y. 6" x 6" x 3 16".
