This improved form of Helleborus niger comes from the German breeding program of Joseph Heuger

thanks to an initial clone we discovered in the wild in 1998

The 18" tall x 2' wide

affinis because it has tripinnate leaves rather than bipinnate

Cypripedium planipetalum kentuckiense Kazakhstan Visitors to the 1991 HostaWe are pleased to share a few hybrids from a new cross of the dwarf Canadian Cypripedium parviflorum var. pubescens forma planipetalum with Cypripedium kentuckiense. Technically, this is the same as Cypripedium 'Lothar Pinkepank', but we'll keep it separate for now. The flowers are bright yellow, with dark purple contrasting, twisty sepals. Quantities are very limited.
