Tabarrini 'Il Padrone delle Vigne' Rosso Umbria IGT, Italy 2018 Case (6x750ml) Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande The 2018 Chardonnay (Anderson Valley)The Red "Il Padrone delle Vigne" of Tabarrini is a simple and direct red from Umbria. The name is a dedication of the producer to his grandfather Giovanni, who passed on much of his experience to him. Simplicity is not however banal: the nose hints of red fruits, pomegranate and black cherry, on the finish there is a hint of vanilla. The palate immediately feels the great body, then the softness and the pleasantly bitter finish.
